FET Logistics Put FreightLock at the Forefront of Logistic Operations

The Project

FET Logistics are a specialist logistics company, transporting high value temperature sensitive pharmaceuticals. Operating under highly regulated conditions, it is vital for FET and their clients that supply chain integrity is maintained at all times and remains compliant with both MHRA regulations, and TAPA TSR1 requirements.

TAPA EMEA’s Trucking Security Requirements (TSR) are designed to protect products transported by road and aims to ensure the safety of drivers, vehicles, and cargoes by preventing criminal attacks. They act as a trusted framework so companies have the reassurance that carriers who have attained the TAPA requirements are adhering to a known and approved set of security requirements.

As a long standing SSP (Security Service Provider) Member of TAPA, FET turned to Maple as they sought the highly coveted accreditation.

The Result

Harry Hughes, Managing Director at FET explains “Cargo security is crucial to our business model, it is essential that we maintain control of the goods we carry at all times. It is paramount that the integrity of pharmaceutical goods is never compromised, as the risk of stolen, counterfeit or contaminated product entering the supply chain poses a serious risk to public health. At FET we place the focus of secure transportation at the forefront our logistic operations.”

“Operating our fleet with Maple’s FreightLock has meant we have a high security, heavy duty locking system in place, ensuring full protection against any potential attack. We are also able to provide complete transparency of all cargo movements, as the Maple system allows us to demonstrate each door open event was carried out under secure conditions. Which in turn allows us to provide our clients the reassurance they demand.“
