StepProtect is the Wi-Fi, nearside front step impact protection system supplied by Maple Fleet Services.

StepProtect is an automatic manoeuvring tool that engages at slow speed and is designed to warn the driver if their tractor unit steps or bumpers are too close to an obstacle.

Ideal for reducing yard manoeuvring bodywork damage or pedestrian / other road user personal injury claims.

The unique StepProtect programming alerts the driver to obstacles at 0.5m and below, thus avoiding ‘safe distance’ false alarms.
