Outlock IQ

Automatic slamlocking for trailer barn doors

Automatic slam locking for trailer barn doors, advancing the security of your trailers load access area.

Built into Outlock IQ is an electronic system that uses either a numbering or RFID key cards to lock and unlock, giving the customer real operational flexibility.

Outlock IQ gives you complete control over who when and where the load area of your vehicle’s trailer or container can be accessed; recording the data in real time for later analysis and auditing.

Outlock IQ combines electronic access control with a robust trailer door locking system, providing a ‘track & trace’ capability with a clearly visible level of door security.

Key Mechanical Features:
Fits to trailer barn doors or container bodies utilising vertical locking bars.
Slamlock action – locks and secures the door upon closing in one motion.
Single action, pneumatically operated for reliability – so no burnt out solenoids.
External air valve allows flexibility of installs, so the system can also be installed on trailers without an active air supply such as demountable boxes or sea containers.
Weather proofed and tested to the extreme conditions (typically -30 °C to 40+ °C).

Key Electronic Features:
RFID read – write capability built into the system.
Increases driver accountability – Displays and records the date and time of when a trailer or container was locked or unlocked and by whom.
Fully auditable, as recorded data transfer can be via a hand held RFID or an IRDA downloader or through the ‘RS232’ serial port for analysis and reporting.
Independently powered by long life batteries which can power the system typically to over 10,000 cycles over a 5 year period.
Easy to use, patented “traffic light” system combined with a super bright LED display allowing the user to see at a distance, even in strong sunlight, the systems status.
Remote locking and unlocking capability.
GPS, tracking and telematic ‘plug & play’ compatible with RS232 port built in.
