Maple Launch Driver Recognition System
Maple Fleet Services are pleased to announce the launch of its new driver identification system, Driver IQ.
Driver IQ is the latest addition to the Maple IQ product range. This latest development builds on the Access Control technology that has been integrated into some of Maple’s most successful and high security locking solutions. The Driver IQ system allows operators to gain complete control over a fleet of vehicles whilst also being able to take vehicle security to a whole new level.
Each driver is issued with their own, unique RFID keycard. The card can be programmed by the operator, who can specify which vehicles they are able to drive, on what days and at what times, eliminating the problems of drivers operating vehicles they are unqualified to drive and preventing employees from using vehicles outside of working hours. Every event is recorded and is available to download for analysis, so you are able to see who has been driving or attempting to drive your vehicle and how they have been doing so.

Of course Driver IQ is more than just a driver recognition system and as you would expect of the leading voice in the commercial vehicle security market, security is at the heart of its capabilities.
To combat the alarming increase in hi-jacking, Maple can offer an upgrade option that converts Driver IQ into an anti hi-jack system. The system, once triggered, will allow the vehicle to be driven for a short period of time, thus allowing the driver to move away from the vehicle, before its performance is degraded to a near zero level.
