Aviation

With increasing risks from those who wish to disrupt the things we take for granted, Maple Fleet Services have been supplying unique and highly secure solutions for use on mobile assets for a number of years.

The technology we have developed and patented to record, report and alert within a security frame work has been taken up by companies that operate in some of the most challenging and security demanding logistics environments to date.

Our solutions reduce the commercial and operational impacts of compliance with international standards, improving upon traditional methods of adherence of such standards by those charged with implementing them on a daily basis.

Our technology is also moving away from just securing traditional vehicles involved in the transportation of goods or service into or around airports and onto the actual airplanes themselves. Having recently been awarded a European grant we have led the development, along with key international aviation partners, to electronically secure duty free and catering trolleys utilised on planes. Focusing on both the potential asset loss in transit and reporting tamper evidence of the carts the solution which will be ready for launch in early 2012. A further development of our IQ range of electronic sealing and access control solutions Air Seal marks a significant area for growth of the technology into none vehicle related applications.

Emergency Service

At some point in our lives we may come to depend upon one of the three emergency services. Given that under such extenuating circumstances, should one of those services not be able to perform to the best of their abilities, severe consequences could potentially arise for all involved. Maple Fleet Services for many years have worked closely with all three blue light services to develop security and safety products that can be used to protect equipment and improve the safety of the men and women who operate them.

A sad fact of life but our products help secure the load lockers on fire vehicles, ensuring that valuable cutting and compressor tools are secure when the vehicle is left unattended in high crime areas.

We provide vehicle immobiliser solutions that enable police offices to exit their vehicles quickly and efficiently, safe in the knowledge that the vehicle cannot be moved or tampered with by unauthorised personnel.

Our installation expertise and capabilities have helped various fire brigades in their up grading program of their “in vehicle” telecommunication systems. Our care, attention to detail and proactive project management ensured the complete solution was brought to operational readiness quickly and efficiently, allowing the brigades we worked with to improve their responsiveness and ability to process information while at incidents.

Public Sector

We rarely give a second thought to the public service vehicles we rely on every day, unless they fail to arrive when we expect or are involved in accidents. Operationally stressed such vehicles impact on many thousand’s of lives as they are used directly or indirectly by the community at large.

Maple Fleet Services have for many years supported such infrastructure systems supplying unique safety and security solutions. For example we allow refuse collection vehicles to be safely left unattended with its engine running through the installation of one of our core systems. An operational requirement for certain types of waste collections (especially when two or less operators are working) the vehicle would otherwise be vulnerable to unauthorised movement and the driver liable under the Road Regulations act 1988 to be fined.

Our alarm solutions have for over a ¼ of a century been installed on buses throughout the UK. Still utilised today the latest development of the product are used as part of reversing and anti attack alarm solutions.
