System lock security for crane equipped vehicles

Maple Cranesafe helps prevent potentially dangerous and expensive in-transit accidents from occurring involving improperly stowed crane jibs etc.

Maple Cranesafe connects to a signal from the existing in-cab audible visual warning circuit. If the signal indicates that the crane or stabilisers have not been stowed correctly, the system will lock the vehicle brakes on (air spring brakes only) to prevent it moving.

Pressing an in-cab button after they have been stowed correctly will allow the vehicle to operate normally. The system also protects the operator from a health and safety point of view and the vehicle from opportunist theft whilst loading or unloading.
