It is illegal to leave any motor vehicle unattended with the engine running. This is particularly problematic for drivers who are constantly in and out of vehicles or where the engine needs to be running for the safe operation of that vehicle. Maple Drivelock:

	Allows the cab area of the vehicle to be left unattended with the engine running. Operation of the vehicle’s ancillary equipment can continue safely, as any attempt to move or drive the vehicle renders it immobilised. An alarm also sounds to warn the operator of such an attempt.
	Conforms to the Road Regulations Act 1988, enabling the safe and legal operation of your existing fleet.
	Ensures that only the correctly trained drivers can operate the vehicle in a safe and responsible manner, improving health and safety.
