Curtain / flexible sided trailer access control solution

TIR Seal IQ provides a significant level of increased access control management for curtain / flexible sided trailers. Replacing the traditional bond cord with a completely unique tamper proof ‘air pressurised’ version, any damage or cutting of the cord causes the electronic seal to immediately trigger as an alarm, or clearly display a broken seal status.

TIR Seal IQ can be used as a stand alone solution, used in conjunction with an ‘anti slash’ alarmed curtain material and even interfaced fully into a trailer telematics solution.

Carriers can maintain the operational flexibility provided by a curtain sided trailer but with the near security level of its hard sided counterpart.

• Replaces current bond cord with a tamper proof patented pressurised air cord. Any cutting or damage results in an alarm or broken seal status being shown.

• Read – write capability built in.

• Fully reusable electronic sealing technology reduces costs and overheads.

• 4 digit number generator used to provide a unique code to open and close the system (as used typically by the banking institutes worldwide).

• Can be powered by hard wiring into the trailer / vehicle electrics as well as utilising rechargeable battery technology to provide security even if the trailer is left unconnected

• Easy to use, patented ‘traffic light’ system with a super bright LED display allowing the user to see clearly the system’s status.

• Choice of operation through the use of numbers, programmable key cards or fully controlled via telematics providing remote sealing / unsealing.

• Records the date and time of when a truck or container was sealed or unsealed and by whom.

• Fully auditable, as recorded data transfer can be via a hand held RFID downloader or linked through a suitable telematics communication device.

• Emergency override facility enabled, so inaccessible, lost or damaged key cards need never be of a customer concern again.

• Provides security even when a tracking signal is not available or potentially blocked.

• Weather proofed and tested to the extreme conditions (typically -30 oC to 60+ oC).
