Marker Lights Reversing System

Marker Lights Reversing System

Overview

marker_light

Unique to the trailer Marker Lights Reversing System, is that it’s completely independent from the vehicle towing the load. By not requiring a dedicated in cab monitor or sounder, any towing vehicle connected to the trailer will benefit from the safety system. This makes it ideal for operators that utilise “drop off and pick up” or that require a number of contractors to haul their trailers.

A simple glance in either side view mirror immediately notifies the driver of the amber LED marker lights status. An increasing rate of flashing indicates that an obstacle is nearing the rear of the trailer, when the amber LED is permanently ‘on’ the trailer is less than 45cm from the object.

The rigid vehicle or trailer has four ultrasonic sensor eyes fitted onto the rear bumper. The amber visual LED displays are built into rubber stalk mounted trailer Marker Lights and visually flash the sensor information. The closer the object the quicker both amber LEDs will flash.
