Narrow Slat Roller Shutter Freightlock

Overview

freightlock_logo

The Maple Fleet Services, Freightlock group of products has been in operation on commercial vehicles for more than 21 years. The narrow slat shutter version has been developed to meet a growing demand for this door type, such as locker doors found on Fire Brigade vehicles.

The Narrow Slat Freightlock was initially developed for use on Fire Appliance vehicles after a direct approach from Greater Manchester Fire, who themselves have been using the solution for more than a decade but its application has since been used on various other vehicles fitted with similar apparatus.

The system is activated by simply engaging an internally mounted switch, any locker that is already closed will be locked, any locker that is open when the system is enabled will automatically slamlock once closed.

Testimonial

“Despite the rigorous use that the lock is exposed to, the locks fitted have been extremely reliable over the past five years in service. I would encourage my colleagues at other Brigades across the country to adopt the Maple 'Mini-Freightlock' system"
