Raising the security of the vehicle by converting a vehicles load area doors to slam locking operation, by adding an extra motorised lock completely independent of the original locking mechanism and controlled through a separate transponder.

For all the advances in commercial vehicle van door security locks, operational issues still remain as the biggest area of weaknesses in the logistics process which can be exploited. Careless or absent minded drivers can render any security system (OE or 3rd party supplied) redundant if they fail to apply the technology appropriately at the correct time.

The Activelock Secure van security door lock is an additional lock added to the vehicle door frame to provide extra physical security against an attack. Controlled through the use of a separate RFID transponder unit, this can be incorporated into a variety of key fobs, wrist bands or embedded into the OE key unit to allow a separate enhanced secure means of accessing a vehicle.
